The Answer - Poem by JeanPierre Barakat

Our eyes immerse
In the infinite waves
Of remembrance:
We were here
At the dawn of ages.
We are here now.
The landscape of our souls
Froze in the fickleness of time.
Our hearts still beat, ache,
For the sake of Love.
We hold our breath.
We release it.
We feel.
We understand.
