The Healingspirit - Poem by Daniel Lloyd Kennedy
Lying sleeping softly still,
Your ever present solid will,
Gently rise and fall your breasts,
Slow and rhythmic drawing breaths.
Angelic in your thoughts and deeds,
Planting always little seeds,
Of hope and love that ne'er bends sway,
Bringing forth another way.
Your gentle presence so demanding,
The love you share never ending,
Always worried still of others,
Spreading love unto another.
Low and slow your voice will start,
Explaining all with which one must part,
Worried still of all to be done,
Your thoughts of helping always run.
Quiet sleeping then you awake,
This day for you to now partake,
Gently stirring deep within,
So with the sun your day begins.
