The Tears Just Come - Poem by Rajashri Saphia Singh

Drip
There's dropp on my bed
just keeps expanding
reaching horizon

But I continue looking upward
not pleading
just being
it's harsh

when some don't want
a fairy tale
i want for mines
that does not seem to exist

not a blink of the eye
had i the rest
to gain

the summer's
approaching beauty sleep
eternal
those eyes
forever they seem
to crowd

drip
they fall
and fall
keep falling
i do not seem to mind
but it's the heart that cringes
with every breath

slow and painful
i'll keep at it
try to make it
not another sorrow of mines

every time i write
and open
those rimmed eyes
drip comes another

they can't hide
seem to love
the light transparencies
sudden
drip
it comes
and keeps falling
