Toasted - Poem by Ruth Walters

The toasted marshmallows were horrid,
the muffins were burnt and quite naff,
I didn’t go much for the porridge
but your warm, toasty bottom was grand!

Toasty bottoms, and a bit of crumpet. Honey dripped from tongue and buns, I am sensing a culinary ambiguity of sensuous and erotic proportions. (Report) Reply

Although the breakfast was horrid but your toasty poem is lovely. It reminds me of my days in Ireland and the horrible diet people used to have. Hope you are well. Antje (Report) Reply
