True Pain - Poem by Katherine Lyczek
Sorrow is one thing
yet this numbing pain I feel...
is like a blackened feather from a fallen angels wing,
The feather falling endlessly...
With no chance of reuniting with it's angel...
Never to fly again...
The Angel grieving as it's feathers slowly disperse,
crystal tears streaming down it's beautiful face,
as it flies it's last sunset.
Little by little,
my spirits fall
and my walls grow stronger and stronger...
That's the endless pain you bring into my life,
I want to be rid of you,
But that is oh, so difficult...
Just go away,
and all my pain will melt away...
