Unconditional - Poem by Dilantha Gunawardana

The love that is bountifully destined but difficult to find
The prelude and the fugue of the inebriated mind
Is the sought pearl for the ardent but naive gem seekers
Is the poem that unlocks forever the hearts rikers
The unconditional key unlocks the heart's lyrical store
The heart the epicenter of the fluidity of love's mesmerizing flow
She walked to me a naive serendipitous poetess
No guises but an overflowing heart, my captivating princess
To the alter with you for our eternity to arrive
For love to undulate as tides of empyrean dreams thrive
Unconditional would be love in her perfection in cupid's dartboard
A life sans conditions to spontaneously unravel in our own golden horde
Our Khanate where affection deluges in waves of completeness
Bathing in simplicity in each other's arms in nectarous sweetness
