V. My Plea

You told me you have a reason
'- Strong reason, ' yet you hold it
Tenderly; even as steel.
But reasons are glassy; clear and fragile.

Lovely sensual contrasts. I could paint from this poem I think. I wonder what conversation inspired it... I don't agree that it is purely abstract. There is a mystery in it, though.

Igwe, I agree with Melvina, this leans towards the abstract, but still it is beautifully written. Top Marks and thanks for sharing it my friend.

This poem is rather unique in a sense that it leans a little toward the abstract. I like it very much.--Melvina--

Mmm. Let me tell you something. Your poems are like a drawer, we open it, and something is heard, seen, smelled, touched; then the drawer closes itself, and we stand silent, remembering...seconds pass by like wind, and our hands are needing to open the drawer again to prove what just happened; anxious sometimes, scared sometimes.

I mean, that is a very good thing to do in literature...

Wish you can understand me. :)
