Valentina - Poem by Maia AlmediaAmir

A Diary,
As and when the feeling strikes me,
Write me with the lights on,
the fossils are breathing more than you.

I give to the pages my mind to keep;
It foresakes me when I sleep
Because when I wake I'll be long gone lover,
it's an impossible thing to tell to you.

The phantom in the discoteque
Twisted his thighs and drew her neck
While I babbled on about bright green nail varnish.
i never listen to you.

Oh, you leather-bound little liar,
Of course you'll lift everything up that little bit higher.
All those memories of mine I've forgotten,
they belong now to you.

Yes, four is good and four is right
So I added this verse on just to spite
The pretty pattern I took fourty-four minutes to write
Look I'm doing it again!
don't worry, I wouldn't listen to me too...
