I believe in happy endings
"Happily ever after" in a Cinderella story
Rewards and favors on good deeds
A crown to a long lost Prince
I believe in odyssey
The genesis of a lucrative endeavor
Endeavor of bleak with tests of strength
My strength may be like Samson
But a Job who gives in and complains
A complaint as to why are there thousands of injuries to bear
But I hold my bloody head and behold two roads diverging in the woods
Leaving me choices to weigh and consider
To sigh why I only get to choose one
Unapprised with its finish line
So I may as well be the Anabel Lee along the way
Coveted by the three evils: greed, hatred, and ignorance
Tried by the three inevitables: old age, disease, and death
Oh yes! We all decay and become dust
And I will still be believing in happy endings
Still achieving, still pursuing
I'd voyage to the moon
To find a paradise not lost
wow this is nice, hope this inspires even more to write.
