Watched - Poem by Carrilyn Fitch

I watch you go
They took you away
I cried and screamed to you
No one heard me
I ran after you
I chased them down
But they held me back

I cried for you while they took you
I screamed when they took you
They told me youd be back

So I waited
They took me away to a place
There I got hit and glared at
I would hide
They couldnt find me here

I watched you go
But I got you back
