What You Want - Poem by Heather Jean

You look into my eyes
Like no one else has before
I keep wanting to be close to you
But I really can’t stay
When you talk to me
I don’t know what to say
Do I like you
Do I want you
Do I really care about you
Do you want me
Do you love me
Do you even know I’m here
I know what I want
But do you want what’s here
I smile wide
Open up my heart
Wishing and praying you feel the same way
I’d give anything to hear you say
Baby I want you
Oh I need you
Yes I really care about you
Can’t you tell by the way I smile
That I love you
That I want to breath you
I aint heard it yet
So I’ll just wait a while
Am I good enough fore you
Or do you see right by
Can’t you tell I have this longing in my eye
Baby I want you
Oh I need you
Yes I really care about you
Can’t you tell by the way I smile
That I love you
That I want to breath you
Do I love you
Do I need you
Do I really care about you
Do you want me
Do you love me
Do you even know I’m here
I know what I want
But do you want what’s here
