You Me, Us - Poem by Maggie Bashford

I cant help but wonder what everyone thinks
But insecurity takes my hand
it holds me tight
and leads far.
the path to life is a right
the path to insecurity is left.
left is the way i turned but ive made a change of pace
ive stopped and relocated
my life
my head
my insecurity's
so what
who cares what they think
so what
i dont control anything but me
my insecurity
is not me however
take your insecurity by the hand and lead it far away
and set it free
inside you and me
is a insecurity free
us
