One Overcast Day
Abandoned by the table where they once ate.
Fate froze the hands of time as seconds stood still for days.
Tears falling from eyes that once smiled at the glimpse of her lips.
The last parting kiss a fond farewell.
Now down he falls through the doors of hell.
Pain and sorrow come as they may.
To strangle and mangle the on coming day.
Gray is the sky that matches her eyes.
Once brown with light now a dying ember in the dark of night.
The pieces and parts, the beating of hearts.
A room full of objects once gifts, now a memorial of a dying era.
