5 Five - Poem by Rowving Smith

Ren, Yi, Zhi, Xin, Li
The five vitues
A gentleman should practice
To live a healthy, harmonious life...
Do you agree... with Confucius..?

You were reading from the book
Sitting crossed legged on the rug
Sunshine streaming through the window
Painting patterns on the floor

Like a white lotus
Waving in the morning breeze
Your head slowly swaying
The eyebrows dancing

I just walked up to you
Held your head in both of my hands
Just like a lotus
And kissed your forehead...

The only answer I knew...!
