Joe Jackson

A - Poem by Joe Jackson

a woven christ leads no worry
feelings feed the fire high
a moral vision becoming blurry
the story's written in the sky

a walking target for the envy
the smallest cut could blind an eye
the man in black is walking with me
no left reason right to lie

the lion hunts down the lamb
with torture as his witness
the ocean overfloods the dam
and bled upon the masses

when life destroys your lemons
and god has parched your thirst
you'll find that death has no friends
but i have found it first
