A Prayer Of Thanks (For You) 2 - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Dear God again I come before you
to offer this prayer of thanks
and to help bless my love and me.
Please help deliver this message to her
and all the love I feel.
Dear God please be with her tonight
and help her feel whole and complete
with calm and peace within her
precious beautiful loving heart.
Help her always to remember and know
that she's not alone and I am right here
and long to take her hand helping
in everything all the time she needs.
Help her to feel your peace and strength
knowing neither of us will abandon her.
Dear God please help her to know I
feel the great love she holds for me.
I feel all the love and warmth she
generously sends to help mend my aching heart.
Please help her to know how thankful I
truly am for all she does.
Only you can help her know inside the
immense joy and pride with loving care
I hold for her.
I thank you God and I thank her.
Dear God do help her to feel all the loving
warmth and endless care I send to her.
Help give her peace knowing I'm right by
her side hand in hand all the time.
Help her to feel me with her tonight
snuggling up to keep each other warm and safe.
Help her to know my boundless love.
Dear God please help us both to find the
way where we can come together and softly
lovingly caring speak.
It's needed and desired so deeply and we
need your help to find that way.
Please help us God to bring back our brightest days.
To heal our hearts and give us peace in
our shared true love please help us God Today.
Dear God again in closing I ask you to
let her know how thankful I've always
been and how thankful I always am for
the loving kind woman she truly is.
Help her to know she is the one I truly want
and desire to spend eternity bound as one.
Dear God I thank thee so for bring this beautiful
woman to me so I could know true love.
Please help us once again and help that
she will be my wife if she so wills.
