A Small Rest 4 - Poem by Michael P. McParland

It's evening now my dear
and I'm quite tired over here.
A small rest for a bit
will hopefully do the trick,
give me back a bit of kick.
Will you come join me
and we'll hold each other close?
Feel contented peace within our hearts.
A small rest for both of
us to just have some time
to reconnect and be in bliss.

Early evening and I'm
very tired and missing you,
a small rest to recharge
and have a little dream of you.
Will you come and join me
my love so pure?
I love you deeply my only one.
