Arachnophobia - Poem by jordan richards

Small enough to hide
Large enough to harm
Two fangs; venom inside
So hairy, that eighth ugly arm

Round and plump that body pregnant
Empty or eight million arachnets? squirming surprise
Look of death potent and hatred pungent
Fills all those vacant bead-black eyes

And their speed! Oh the speed!
Oh God! Was there ever a need?
To combine that impossible agility
With unearthly grace and reflexive ability?
