As It Ends - Poem by Benjamin David

The ripening seed blossomed and fell
The pollination of your love, putrid and stale

You pulled my petals with your saddened glee
Your sombre light decrees from thee

Why did you not harvest, you hid me, perfidy
You caressed me with corrosion, searing acidy

No longer will you see my reaping dew
You negated me life, forgiveness ensue! ...
