August Colors

Rating: 5.0
Translated by Przemyslaw Musialowski 8/12/2018

The sun will entertain with a ray,
with iridescent rain sowing
thousands of August colors,
among yellowed meadow grasses.

Dyed with purple and white
orchids intricately woven
- under them soft mosses stretch
with molehills interlaced:

haughty, they reign majestically,
like mountains peaks over the forest
- overgrown with cowberry,
whipped by winds and time
they'll wear an autumn's suit
- of crimson shades.

Sun entertains this Earth through rays and gives power. Majestically on mountain peaks wind dances with rays. A nice and vivid imagery is drawn in this poem. A well written poem is neatly and perfectly translated by Przemyslaw Musialowski. An excellent sharing is done here...10
