Black Ii: 'Bye Isaac I - Poem by Michelle Freeman

It’s dark here
No life – no light.
Your eyes – as meaningless
As the love I once felt –
For you.
Only death pervades this space
Your words empty, void
As the lust I once felt –
In my veins.

Cold, just cold
Freezing – chilling.
Your presence – as absent
As my misinterpretations
Of you.
It’s dark here, only death here
Void of emotion, meaning
Then – nothing – gone –
*Like you.
