Boogie - Poem by Roxanne Russie

Boogie
Dear Lord,
I need some help from you
Help my uncle Boogie make it through.
When he began his teens
His home life was mean.
His life started to get rough
So, he became tough.
He's been in and out of jail
His life has been a living h***.
He wants something new
That's why I'm coming to you.
Now, he's taken a chance
Hoping his life will enhance.
He's getting old
A future he needs to mold.
Give him a hand
So, he can roam the land.
As of today
He is home to stay.
