Close Our Eyes - Poem by Michael P. McParland

Come my dear one and let's slip into bed,
we'll share a sweet and deep kiss
then rest your head upon my chest
as I tightly pull you in to give you peace.
I love you sweet lady now let's close our eyes
and talk a little bit as we drift off to sleep.
I will be with you holding you tight
so feel my deep comfort and not a single fright,
I love you sweet Kira you're my sweet Angel dove
and only one.

Come my sweet one and join me in bed.
As you rest your head on my chest
hear how my heart beats for my lady so sweet.
I want you and need you so let's
keep on working to be closer together,
I love you so much my beautiful Kira
now let's close our eyes so we can
go to our dreams and see each other.
Let's talk so soon for real
because you are my dream and I want to
be with you forever to no end.
