Come Snuggle Under The Covers - Poem by Michael P. McParland
As I drift in and out of a restless sleep
come sweet sweet lady and snuggle with me under the covers.
Let me bury my face in your shoulder and
just hide from everything and everyone but you,
for a good while feeling protected and
so deeply loved in your arms.
Where I'll no longer feel alone and
be at peace in my sweet ladys warm embrace
of pure love with a kiss to make it alright.
Come snuggle with me under the covers
and tell me everything is alright,
rubbing my face and my head while I look into your eyes
say I love you Kira you are my Angel and protector,
please just lay here and we'll hold each other forever,
you make me feel safe warm and like someone special,
and I want to do the same showing you how wonderful you are
and give you all the best as you truly deserve.
Come snuggle and nuzzle with me under the covers
where we can feel safe and kiss over and over escaping
into our own world talking, laughing, crying, and making love
with the rest of the world left behind and forgotten.
Where it's just you and me and nothing else matters.
I love you my Queen and Angel and I need you here so very bad,
you are the woman I love and the true love I've always wanted,
come join me and we'll forever snuggle under the covers.
