Velvet Astraea Dido

Dead Voices

in my igloo
where winter's past
shadow dust
of moonlit fire

linger around
the shortest distance
defame, bethrow
and scorn no more

timeless actions
you have washed among
thorns of disgrace
you have to waste

evil will slay
the wicked,
foes of the righteous
will be condemned

vengance will be
of no more use
words are my only
defense from you

and i shall hate
you no more
when your eyes have
forever closed.
