Dear Love - Poem by Lynzi Berner

Dear love,

I don't want you anymore.

Take our love and dig a hollow grave

Deep
and
low

Bury all that was us
in an unmarked grave
on a hill

No service
Nothing formal

Just a flick of the wrist

Covering US in the earth

Me

P.S.
I lied
I still want you!
I cannot bring myself
to pick up the shovel
