Disappointment - Poem by Alexis James

to dwell on it - a waste of time
it gives you stress,
makes you seem to carry such a heavy burden
leaves you unhappy, lonely, empty

so why dwell on it?

Person 1:
I don't know. I try;
But I can't seem to help myself

Person 2:
ahh, a bit of a perfectionist, then?
you put too much on yourself

Person 1:
.. I don't know..
