Disappointment - Poem by Lynzi Berner

Is your silence golden?
Are you fixed yet?
Did my love for you
and yours for me
permanently break you?

Was our love
so beautiful and real
Poison to your soul
Venom in your heart

You disappoint me

At the first test of love
you left
You took your words
and your love
and hid them
in your silence

Are you happy now
without me?
When you closed our foor
did you sigh and smile?

I deserved a goodbye!

But you chose
to leave on a wordless

Did you say that?
Did I hear all that you wont say?

You never really loved me

Maybe we're better off this way
