Distant Dream - Poem by Dhruv Painuly

It’s been long….so long
Days gone by, when we were young
Playing on the fields, dreaming on those terraces
Fighting with friends, arguing with teachers
All seems a distant dream now

I wonder where all those buddies are
With whom I shared my thoughts, my space
Were some able to make those dreams come true
I may never be able to know
Far in this distant land, the memories are fading away
Or are they just getting blurred
But behind this haze, the sun still shines brightly
Those faces are with me, right here, right now
But still it all seems a distant dream
It’s been long….so long

Sounds that you are very young
But have heard that you are tying the knots!
