Ashley Turney

Dont Cry, Dont Cry

dont cry
dont cry
momma screams in my ear
as if i cant hear

brave girls dont shed a tear
brave girls ignore their cruel words
Brave girls rise above
stop complaining- people got problems worse than mine

brave girls dont cry
but inside their dying
so tired of trying
trying to be a brave girl

trying not to get left behind in this world
braave girls just cant cry
all they can do is try
try to be brave

wishing they could live the life that they crave
one where thay can be vulnerable
one where they can cry
brave girls dont cry
