Fading Heart - Poem by Jason J. Yu

How could I forget a heart so true.
So lovely indeed as it belongs to you.
Although I try with all of my might,
I can never forget the way you light.
My spirit, my essence, your presence is dear.
For all of my troubles fade into clear.
When you're near I am dreaming, my heart finding meaning.
Believing in miracles and things of all feelings.
Happiness, joy, and all the above.
When clearly you are defining 'my love.'
As it finally nears, and finally here.
May I watch you fade and alas disappear.
Without a sound and without a trace.
But never shall I forget such beauty and grace.
As hard as I try, to myself I reply.
My love I'll remember...
Til the day that I die.

Where there is true love and friendship no matter how long time passes our heart tend to remember like it's just yesterday. True friendship is not eroded by time. Great poem. (Report) Reply
