For Her - Poem by Samantha Martin

For her we must keep a lie
For her we must die inside
For her what we want can never be
For her you can’t love me
For her to you I must be a dream
For her I must not feel a thing
But you see for her you must always be
And stop the love you have for me

This poem is open to interpretation on a number of levels, from a simple love poem of sorts, to any thing that we put above honor and respect.

    A very enjoyable read.

    Peace,
