Gorgeous Lady - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Gorgeous lady how I wish I could
have you here to hold within my arms,
to sit and watch the game in peace
with my only one.
To cheer and talk laughing along the way,
gorgeous lady you are my hopes and dreams
and I send this kiss to you.
Gorgeous lady my heart sings so loud for you,
it beats continuously because you love mee too.
I feel such pride and light from the hope you give
when I look into those eyes I know what true love is.
The looks and smiles we were young
said more than we knew,
but on the deepest level of our bond we
knew we were saying I truly love you dear.
You are my gorgeous one and my heart melts for you.
Gorgeous one what can I say
but you're everything I need,
you're the only one I'll ever want
standing next to me.
I will hold your hand and hold you close
through the lengths of time.
Kira you are my gorgeous one
and my heart's forever yours.
