Rookie (She was born dead... / A Hospital)

Hold On - Poem by Nichole Hoehn

Your soul should last you an eternity
But is hers still living?
She’s been hurt and she’s been hit
She just can’t handle it
No one knows what she’s feeling inside
She hides it all in until someone makes her snap
Then tears fill her eyes and then and only then
People can see the pain inside
Dhe may seem living
But she’s dieing inside
Slowly pieces of her are drift away until the final piece is almost gone
But she will just have to hold on
Until it’s her day to fly away
