Andrew Sutcliffe

Rookie (The wonderful Rocky Mountains)

Home Early - Poem by Andrew Sutcliffe

Dejected
Stillness in motion
Walking
Empty; heart

Souls moving,
parting
Presence hole
no hope

Vacation,
1 week left,
of my
split soul

Glimpse of beauty

Electric shock of euphoria
Heart quivering shaking waked,
Surprise, fused in adrenaline of upliftment
Completeness known in a second

All this found
un-expected in your smile
