I Feel Like A Ghost Poem by Isabel Szurlej

I Feel Like A Ghost

I feel like a ghost from the moment I'm lost
I spread my ashen coat on white city roads
I go where no one can go
Plunge into snow
I travel between worlds alone
Far from home
My steps echoing, I soar
Sliding among slim towers
Hold my breath above hazy hordes
Rob the splendor of the cathedrals
Full holy, adored by crows
I feel like a ghost, all places are lost
I spread my ashen coat on white city roads
I go where no one can go
Left my home
Dreaming between worlds alone
Plunge into snow
