I Have Not Known A Place On My Blindness - Poem by Kevin Jon Ciano

I have not known a place, a place; on my blindness,
Nor to heaven's sake where once I was sailing,
The prowess of mysterious craft in the widest praising nights,
In this solitude, lurks the shadowing tremors; blinking, beating, sneaking!

I have not heard the sounds of shrilling wily crickets,
As the twighlight nighs its scattering of slumbers; swaying, laying, faying!
For until midnight, only then I gained my feeble sighs,
Of the heart, of the words, of the cunningness; loathing, cracking, fading!

Oh darkness! What tales speak of your guileful mournful words?
For these are all in my blindness; roaming, eyeing, fleeing!
And if the dawn would hail these dreary trying days,
Still, I would find my weakness, my blindness in your tales; seeking, meeking, leaping!

Oh blindness! Haven't I reached the gate to these walls and sublime edges?
For me to pass the vision before every man's willful being,
With the mind of minds, of the heart of hearts,
Springs a thousand recourse of a nowhere man; rising, living, yearning!

I have not known a place, a place; on my blindness,
Nor to light's sake where once I was dwelling,
On my blindness, I surpassed lamentable heaven; oh heaven, my paradise!
Through which, my feet set forth to the ground; on my blindness; lying, breathing, resting!
