I'Ll Try - Poem by Lynda Remus

I think my luck is changing,
that is if I’ve any luck at all
I think my life is pointed uphill
a hill, who knows how tall
I think I shall smile now,
a smile without doubt
I think that I can talk again,
Talk to them; not be left out
I think I can hold my chin up now
I can look them in the eye
I know I haven’t done these things
But now, I think, I’ll try.
