In Odd Ways - Poem by Brittany Tartaglia

A mysterious voice
are messages I receive
listening close to hear
all the things revealed to me

In an odd way
they appeal to me
not like other guys
I have always seen

A strange moonlight
becomes the light of my phone
as the wind blows beside me
making me realize I'm alone

The moonlight reflects
off that lake
the one I swin in
day after day

The lake that makes me
feel so great
in its embrace
its almost a date

In an odd way
it appeals to me
not like other guys
I have always seen

And in this lake
something swims with me
the pale white skin
from the moon reflecting dreams

Dreams of these young characters
going out to play
where the evil emporer
will send them off in seperate ways

The evil one just like the sun
beating down upon my back
the only thing to save me now
is my cool moon on the way to attack

In an odd way
the moon appeals to me
not like other guys
I have always seen
