Last Spring - Poem by Z.I. Mahmud
It was the season of Spring
I had a different feeling
It was very calm, pleasant, attractive and charming
Cuckoos were rejoicing with joy
Dried leaves rose again!
Varieties of flowers spread ed their fragrance towards me
Butterflies, dragonflies and other flies sang the songs of Spring
Champa, Krishanchura, Palash, Shimul filled my mind with happiness
It was a beautiful picture
As if it filled my soul and heart with its beauty.
