Gordon Jerome

Lost - Poem by Gordon Jerome

Now lets see
Where could it be
I usually keep it near
Within my sight
Close and tight
Because it is so dear
I highly doubt
I left it out
It means so much to me
A love so fair
For her I share
Forever it always will be
Please help me look
Search every nook
I’ll pay whatever the cost
I would rather die
Than think she thought I
Allowed my love for her to be lost.
“closing thought”
If you allow your love to simply be lost
Prepare yourself for it’s lasting cost
