***m U S I N G S I N A H O S P I T A L C A R P A R K**** - Poem by colm ferriter
Like rats in a haystack in their prefab they cower.
A cynical, underhand and predatory shower.
Take advantage of the weakest in sickness and pain
To exploit the most vulnerable for monetary gain.
Without conscience or pity the minions they troll
To profit from illness their masters' very goal.
To catch the unfortunates who have neither money nor time
And on these most vulnerable impose a punitive fine
They plunder without fear- a 'legitimate business'
To charge for their parking those suffering from illness
And families, dig deep and pay up for each visit
In this national scandal our leaders complicit
Sick or infirm, no matter what the malaise
Babies newborn or folk at the end of their days
If your bladder is weak or your nerves are unsteady.
Everyone pays, no exceptions, have your cash at the ready.
