hell fire

Maiden Of Old - Poem by hell fire

As the orange kissed horizon
slowly dies, I stood quietly
On jagged cliff
I gaze upon salty exterior,
seduced by eclectic
love songs of seagull wings,
flapping through blistered winds
Powerful you are, yet moved
by the delicate gestures
of natures wand
I bear witness to
beasts of grace and stone,
as they crumble and fell
into a well sculptured
bosom of aqueous ness.
Hastened by the cowardly spell of time,
they met their doom
Poseidon playing hosts
from reception rooms
Deep, deep I breathe the salty air
Protest my lungs to the invasiveness
I smile with flooded mind,
And realize,
that I am truly blessed…
