Marigold, Sweet William Poem by james watkin

Marigold, Sweet William

Dear plantlings of an
Hour's trumpeting.
"Mine mine" as one
Slimy doth run -
The dissenter!

As long stood o'er with
Bright water-can.
"Bloom bloom" when through
Slug's mouth oped to -
The upsetter!
