Modern Day Shrink - Poem by s./j. goldner

People seem to want to
embellish me
with their innermost
secrets—
i do not know why; i
presume they feel whatever it is
they have to divulge
concerning their darkest
depths,
cannot be any worse
than what i'm living thru.

Maybe their presumptions come from your Kingdom thought and need your spiritual guidance or lesson. (Report)Reply

Sus, Sympathy can be expressed in odd ways, but one gets the feeling this account is symptomatic of poetic persecution. The laconic manner in which you paint a brief but decisive landscape then place yourself central to the angst in it is poignantly beautiful... Rgds, Ivan (Report)Reply
