Munching Zebra's Striped Ensemble........[humor; Nature; Short] Poem by Bri Edwards

Munching Zebra's Striped Ensemble........[humor; Nature; Short]

Rating: 5.0

2009 Version:

Who Asked The Zebra 'Plaid or Stripe? '
Though 'Big Game' fashion critic does snipe,
proud Zebra does not mind;
if grass he can find……,
he goes on with routine with no gripe.

2012 Version:

Though her critics may growl and snipe,
the Zebra cares not……
that Plaid is the fashion this season, not Stripe.
She pays the critics no mind
as long grass she can find,
and goes on with routine with no gripe.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
OK! ! ! My second method to reestablish an old, formerly deactivated poem here, by adding the word 'Munching' to the title DOES WORK and I can now edit the former Poet's Note as well. I wrote the following lines earlier: The following did NOT work; PH did not allow it. So now I'll change the title slightly and try that, instead of THIS: I'm trying to reactivate a poem and have it appear to be a 'New Poem' to PH, one which will apprear with today's date, and will be announced in Notifications as a newly-submitted poem. Kim Barney has given me tips, but I'm trying some other way. :)
COMMENTS OF THE POEM

I apparently figured out how PH can 'let me' resubmit an OLD poem (ONLY SLIGHTLY EDITED IN ITS TITLE, NOT ITS BODY) AND HAVE poem appear as a first-time submission. The new submission date in May 2022, but the last time the poem's body was edited was 2012, not 2022. bri : )
