My Good Angel - Poem by Louise McVicar
I have a good angel.
He makes me smile by his countenance
His joy makes my joy full.
His happy ease makes my life smooth
His kindness makes me so.
I'm not in love, I don't think so
Though I do love him I'm sure
He is simply the best man I have ever known...
He's my good angel.
When he smiles he makes me so full of joy
To know my friend is near
His goodness overwhelms my soul
His sweet simplicity is like medicine
His presence makes me someone new
he makes me a better person
He is truly my good and sweet angel
The best man I have ever known
(Partly inspired by David Copperfeild - but the person and sentiment is wholy true enough)
