Now We'Re Through - Poem by Marilyn Stanger

I'd like to forget you
The way you look at me
Everything you do
But you are all i see

When i close my eyes
I see your smile
I hear your lies
echoing for a while

You're always on my mind
I try to push thoughts of you away
But you seemed so kind
So ready to make my day

I fell for you
Loved you with all i had
But now we're through
And i'm sad
