I see you smiling.
I wish you'd call.
I wish you'd mind me.

I feel you distant.
You keep on fading.
I feel amidst us,
our cloth is tearing.

You think of you.
I think of me.
We both think of who
is not us we.

We once were strong.
We once had trends.
We once stood tall.
We once were friends.
