prince tied

Star Light - Poem by prince tied

how i dearly love this starlit night
this beauty that belongs to all
not just I

and how the eerie north wind blows
its frost upon these bones

and if the silent hand of death should call
i would ask only

that i lay upon a star in the sky
for all of
eternity

(1995)
